On April 7, a conference on the demonstration zone of AI big model application was held in Pazhou area, Haizhu district, announcing the latest action for AI-driven development.

Guangzhou is poised to provide support for Haizhu district in constructing the first domestic demonstration zone of the AI big model application. It aims to promote the in-depth application to over eight industries by 2026, with at least 30 typical application scenarios, 50 selected benchmarking enterprises, and more than 5,000 storage algorithms. Besides, the main business income of the demonstration zone is targeted at more than 500 billion yuan ($69.1 billion) by that time.

During the conference, the compliance guidance service center of the AI big model in the Pazhou area was officially launched. It is set to assist and guide enterprises in putting their big models and algorithms on record and promoting the compliant, safe, and healthy development of the big model industries. Its professional services are expected to attract big models and algorithms enterprises, contributing to enterprise agglomeration.

In addition, the conference promoted the Three-Year Action Plan to Accelerate the Formation of New Quality Productive Forces in Haizhu District. It also released four big model projects, including Haizhu Government Affairs Cloudbrain, “Chaoche” of Vipshop company, Text to Video of Insight GPT, and Smart Social E-shopping Guide of Mi Yuan.
