Guangzhou held a conference on high-quality development on Feb 26. Participants and guests exchanged ideas and shared measures around implementing the important projects, aiming to create a new situation of coordinated development between urban and rural areas in Guangzhou.

In the past year, Guangzhou has promoted the projects with targeted measures for each area, and preliminary results have been achieved.

This year, the focus of Guangzhou will be on accelerating task progress, industrial support, project construction, urban and rural development, reform and innovation, and support and security.

Guangzhou municipal government and Agricultural Bank of China Guangzhou Branch signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Over the next three years, more than 300 billion yuan ($8.33 billion) in credit support will be provided for critical projects. Furthermore, Guangzhou signed contracts with 15 projects, with a total investment exceeding 60 billion yuan, including a project between Haizhu district and Ant Group.

During the event, participants and guests offered suggestions and jointly discussed the direction and measures for implementing the projects.
