Haizhu district in Guangzhou has carried out a series of pedestrian bridge renovation projects, including the Industrial Avenue Baoye Road Intersection, Wansong Garden, and Haizhu Shopping Center pedestrian bridges. These bridges have been completely transformed, enhancing comfort and safety.

To ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles, the Industrial Avenue Baoye Road Intersection pedestrian bridge underwent reinforcement and enhancement work, including adding wind and rain shelter components, strengthening its wind and rain protection function, and enhancing its aesthetic design.

For the Wansong Garden and Haizhu Shopping Center pedestrian bridges, staircases were refurbished, handrails were replaced, and wind and rain shelters were optimized or added, improving the comfort of crossing.

These renovations have improved urban traffic efficiency and pedestrian safety, vitalizing the old urban area and contributing to creating the Jiangnan Cultural, Commercial, and Travel Integration Zone in Guangzhou.

Furthermore, Haizhu plans to implement a smart pedestrian crossing system and renovate public squares to enhance traffic guidance and road safety, promoting high-quality economic development.
