During the 2024 Spring Festival holiday, Haizhu Wetland in Guangzhou hosted a diverse range of activities, attracting numerous visitors to enjoy flower viewing and immerse themselves in the rich festive atmosphere.

Haizhu district has crafted three sprawling spring flower seas, covering a total of 50,000 square meters. These feature the Persian chrysanthemums at Haizhu Lake, alongside vibrant displays of corn poppy and rapeseed flowers. Following the Lantern Festival, the Flower Viewing Avenue is scheduled to open its doors, inviting visitors to revel in the blossoming beauty.

Haizhu Wetland has decorated Chinese New Year flower boats with distinctive Lingnan characteristics, collaborating with dozens of key enterprises to showcase the Haizhu Partner brand culture, and designed floral horticulture, flower lanterns, and boat lights.

In addition, there are activities such as the Haizhu Wetland Flower Market and a floral art exhibition, providing visitors with a rich experience of traditional customs, intangible cultural heritage products, style performances, and creative DIY experience activities. The Haizhu Wetland Lantern Festival is set to be held on Feb 23 and 24.
