The market boasts a wide variety of businesses and diverse forms. Numerous stalls are set up, offering a dazzling array of Chinese New Year goods.

In ancient times, Zhuangtou village in Haizhu was renowned for growing sweet-scented osmanthus flowers, earning it the nickname "Flower Field." Today, the Haizhu flower fair is also known as the riverside flower fair, offering a unique romantic atmosphere with the opportunity to stroll along the flower streets while enjoying river views.

Behind the flower market gate, a landmark representing the origin of the flower market has been set up to provide insights into the history of the Haizhu flower fair. The event is set also to feature ancient-style catwalk shows, processions, scenic photo opportunities, interactive games, Cantonese opera and traditional Cantonese music performances, and intangible cultural heritage lion dance performances for citizens to experience and enjoy.

Furthermore, a 5.5-meter-high soaring dragon landscape stands in the center of the square, adding to the festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival.

The Jiangnan cultural and commercial fusion circle has introduced pitch-pot and song recognition games. Some Guangzhou-style intangible cultural heritage performances and shows have also been launched.
