A total of 27 returning university students from Tsinghua and Peking Universities recently gathered in Haizhu district to taste the distinctive Cantonese cuisine and appreciate the Lingnan garden architecture and scenery, kicking off a one-day "Haizhu Youth Partnership" study tour.

The event recruited students from Guangzhou studying outside the city to participate in a study and exchange program in Haizhu during the winter vacation. Through on-site visits, practical experiences, and discussions, the students had contact with Haizhu and witnessed the achievements of Haizhu's development.

The students visited well-known enterprises in the Pazhou experimental area, experiencing the rapid industrial development of Haizhu. They also visited Guangdong's No 1 Port Memorial Hall and Haizhu Wetland Park, experiencing the historical culture and ecological conservation achievements of Haizhu.

Following the event's conclusion, the 27 university students became youth partners of Haizhu and were awarded certificates. They expressed their intention to spread the story of Haizhu to more places and hoped to return to their hometown in the future to contribute to its high-quality development.
