The city of Guangzhou in 2023, recently unveiled its list of most beautiful pocket parks. Tongfu Road Pocket Park in Haizhu district was honored as the most friendly pocket park, while Yongxing Wharf Pocket Park received the title of most vibrant pocket park.

Tongfu Road Pocket Park is located near Exit A of Tongfu West Metro Station and covers an area of approximately 1,900 square meters. The park maximizes the utilization of existing spaces, roadside areas, and green spaces, optimizing the layout through plant shading and landscape walls.

It features facilities such as flower ponds for relaxation, and the plaza paving incorporates intricate carvings, integrating the cultural ambiance of Guangzhou's city flower, the Kapok tree, to enhance the community's cultural atmosphere and comfort.

Yongxing Wharf Pocket Park provides a popular destination for recreational activities and exercise. It includes a public activity square, a children's play area, and beautiful green landscapes totaling around 700 sq m.

The park, situated on the north side of Yongxing Wharf along Huandao Road in Haizhu district, aims to improve the exercise and fitness environment for residents in the Binhai West area. It has been developed as a themed pocket park focused on sports and fitness. Additionally, the park incorporates over 10 intelligent sports facilities, creating an outdoor smart fitness gym.

These pocket parks offer residents leisure and entertainment while fostering community interaction and communication.
