The Legal Aid Center for Abused Minors in Haizhu district was established on Jan 3, becoming the first center in China to provide legal assistance for minors who have been victimized.

The center aims to protect the legal rights of minors who have been the victims of illegal activities and civil infringements, such as sexual abuse, bullying, and domestic violence. It provides services such as legal consultation, assistance, case tracking, litigation representation, legal education, and psychological care.

With Haizhu district as its core, the center includes a rescue center, a psychological counseling room, and an art and reading therapy room. It has also formed a legal aid team, a psychological healing team, and a legal education team, all working together to protect the rights of abused minors.

The project's slogan is "Protection and Healing," aiming to help abused minors recover and return to normal life through legal protection, psychological counseling, and art and reading therapy.

Building upon this foundation, Haizhu district will further safeguard the safety and rights of abused minors, creating a healthy environment for them to grow and thrive.
