The Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone in Haizhu district recently received an A-level comprehensive evaluation result from the national e-commerce demonstration base for the year 2023, once again becoming the only demonstration base in Guangdong province to make the national top ten.

Haizhu district has held the Guangzhou-Pazhou Algorithm Competition for the past two years. Through evaluations of innovative development, core technologies, and scenario applications, 10 high-quality and potential projects have been selected. E-commerce companies are encouraged to utilize digital technologies such as big data and large-scale models to accelerate industrial upgrading and talent aggregation.

Haizhu district has strengthened the role of leading platforms, developed comprehensive, vertical, and cross-border e-commerce platforms, and helped traditional commercial enterprises and professional wholesale markets enter the e-commerce field, creating a strong ecosystem for the common development of the e-commerce industrial chain.

Haizhu district also established a special task force for live-streaming e-commerce, aiming to develop leading live-streaming e-commerce platforms and industrial chains, promote the integration and development of live-streaming with local brands, and develop intelligent, brand-oriented, and profit-oriented live-streaming to create a second-generation high-quality live-streaming e-commerce economy.

In addition, Haizhu district has optimized the soft environment for e-commerce development. Through in-depth services and innovative Haizhu Partner models, it has promoted industrial development and the cultivation of enterprises, shifting from merely providing policies and incentives to exploring markets and seeking orders.
