On Dec 18, the 2023 Guangzhou International Innovation Festival released several enterprise rankings, highlighting multiple companies from Haizhu district.

The Guangzhou Unicorn Innovation Enterprise Rankings highlights a group of innovative, fast-growing, and high-potential companies. The selected enterprises have an average of approximately 307.57 intellectual property (IP) rights and 70.71 invention patents. A total of 23 companies from Haizhu district were included on this list.

The Guangzhou Hidden Champion Enterprise Rankings identify high-quality companies with excellent innovation capabilities, high industry status, and good profitability in segmented fields. Enterprises in emerging industries such as advanced manufacturing, information technology, new materials, and biomedicine accounted for over 90 percent of this ranking. Haizhu district had five companies selected.

The Guangzhou Benchmark Incubator Rankings select excellent incubators that focus on high-tech industries and future industries. These enterprises must also foster deep-tech enterprises and high-level talents. The selected enterprise from Haizhu district was the Sun Yat-sen University Science Park.

The showcase of typical case studies in the field of artificial intelligence demonstrates excellent examples in various domains such as intelligent manufacturing, intelligent transportation, and healthcare. Smart education and intelligent security were also added to promote the demonstration of multi-scenario applications of artificial intelligence. Among these cases, four are from Haizhu district.
