Guangzhou's Haizhu district has been promoting community renovations since the beginning of this year, carrying out restoration work in old communities such as the Huangpu South community and the Qingfeng community.

The Huangpu South community, located in Huangpu village, is one of the birthplaces of the Maritime Silk Road and thus is home to many historical buildings.

In collaboration with local residents, the government has restored the historical archways, cleaned up cluttered and neglected front yards, installed outdoor benches, and built a pocket park with Lingnan characteristics. This has made the community more livable and enjoyable.
In the Qingfeng community, located at the center of the Jiangnan cultural, commercial, and tourist integration zone, damaged pavilions and benches were repaired, and chess facilities were added to meet the diverse needs of residents.

The exterior of the shops in the Qingfeng community has also been redecorated, making the community a popular spot for young people. The community has also constructed a new landmark: the "Bishui Yaoxi" archway.

In the future, Haizhu district will continue to deepen its efforts in enhancing community appearances.
