The second Digital Government and Digital GBA Achievement Expo opened in Guangzhou's Haizhu district on Dec 8, aiming to showcase the innovative achievements in the digital construction sector.

As the host of the 2nd Digital Government Expo, Haizhu district announced several major achievements. It released the Haizhu District Data Element Ecological Planning (2023-25), which promotes the deep integration of data elements and the real economy. Haizhu district is the first pilot area for data brokers in Guangdong province, with eight data brokers already on duty.

The intelligent management platform of the Canton Tower scenic area won second place in the Innovation Application Award category, which was part of the Guangdong Digital Government Innovation Application Competition (2023). It is the only selected work among government departments at all levels in Guangzhou city.

Haizhu district is also promoting the application of its internet of things (IoT) technology and has been creating a production-type new urban IoT perception system, empowering data collection and precise governance in scenarios such as road safety, cultural heritage protection, and monitoring of electric bicycles charging at home in Pazhou and key areas.

During the event, the unveiling ceremony of the Pazhou Big Data Industrial Park was held, introducing Pazhou's excellent investment environment and development advantages. Currently, the Pazhou Pilot Zone has incubated 345 high-tech enterprises, building a high-quality industrial development cluster.

Currently, the economic strength of Haizhu district continues to steadily improve, making it a leading area in Guangzhou's economic development.
