Pazhou experimental zone in Haizhu district ranked among the top 10 Central Business Districts (CBDs) in Chinese mainland  in terms of competitiveness, as announced by Forbes China on Nov 28.

Pazhou is a leader in building a large-scale model application demonstration base and is collaborating with Baidu to launch the Haizhu government cloud brain model, the first government application of Baidu Wenxin Yiyuan in the nation.

Forbes China's selection criteria for CBDs include international influence, economic output, diversity of functions, consumer appeal, business attractiveness, and innovative vitality. In the end, Guangzhou Pazhou CBD was listed among the top 10 in terms of competitiveness.

As the core of the Pazhou experimental zone, Haizhu district is home to 345 high-tech enterprises and 80 provincial-level specialized and new enterprises.

In the first three quarters of this year, 3,048 enterprises were established in the Pazhou experimental zone, bringing the total number to 35,612, with a total operating revenue of 316.83 billion yuan ($44.43 billion).

In the future, the Pazhou experimental zone will further build an industrial system, strengthen research and innovation, and accelerate industrial innovation and development.
