The 2023 Guangzhou Haizhu Overseas Chinese Communication and Cooperation Conference was held in Haizhu district, Guangzhou, from Nov 19 to 20.

The conference aims to promote cooperation and communication between overseas Chinese and Haizhu district.

During the conference, representatives from various sectors gave investment promotion speeches and signed project agreements. Haizhu attracted a number of high-quality projects at the event, all of which accumulate to a total investment of over 6 billion yuan ($840.24 million).

During the conference, the Haizhu overseas Chinese chamber of commerce also held its members' meeting and showcased its innovative development achievements.

Meanwhile, Haizhu district organized visits to Canton Tower, the Haizhu National Wetland Park, and the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experimental Zone for overseas Chinese and guests from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. This allowed them to learn about Haizhu's future development trends.

As the central district of Guangzhou, Haizhu district has favorable development conditions and resources. It is striving to become a new highland for high-quality development in Guangzhou.
