The second promotion and exchange event for digital cultural and creative industries was held on Nov 13, at Guangdong Guangzhou Daily Media Building, Haizhu district.
The event featured over 150 digital creative enterprises engaged in fields such as anime games, film and television media, creative design, online streaming, and cultural equipment.
To boost the protection and implementation of copyrights in the digital creative industry, a copyright service workstation for the animation and gaming industries was set up at the event. The workstation will provide services such as digital copyright investment and financing, copyright trading, industry investment attraction, and promotional training to support the high-quality development of the digital cultural and creative industries.
Last year, Haizhu district introduced the country's first district-level specialized policy to support the copyright industry. One year later, eight enterprises were awarded over 1 million yuan ($137,124) in support. As of 2022, Haizhu district is home to 289 digital cultural and creative industry enterprises, with an operating income of 56.5 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 29.8 percent.
