The 134th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held in Guangzhou from Oct 15 to Nov 4, showcasing some new changes and highlights.

The exhibition area of this year's event has been expanded by 50,000 square meters compared to the previous session, with the total area reaching 1.55 million sq m. The number of exhibition zones has also increased to 55, while the number of participating companies has also increased. Over 4,900 companies will participate for the first time, bringing about 680,000 new exhibits.

To attract buyers, the event has launched investment promotion activities through Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, foreign consulates in Guangzhou, and global partners, as well as coordinated the opening of green channels with various consulates.

To provide better services, this session of the Canton Fair has set up 237 service points for issuing certificates, 140 more than the previous session. On-site certificate processing has been available 24 hours a day since Oct 12.

Furthermore, this year's event has further improved its online platform with 101 new features, achieving linkage with in-person exhibitions.

The supporting activities will also be more diverse, including multiple industrial forums and over 10 trade promotion events.
