The International Game Developers Conference (IGDC) was held on Sept 15 in the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, in Haizhu district of Guangzhou - capital of South China's Guangdong province.
The IGDC has become a premier annual game industry event held since 2015. It has a close connection with Haizhu district, since the first conference was held there.
This year's IGDC focused on the current status and emerging trends of the sector. It covered topics such as game globalization, the metaverse and artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) game developments. Experts - like Wang Xiangbin, founder of Chinese digital games data analysis firm DataEye and Albert Zhiltsov, CEO of 1C Game Studios in Russia - shared their points of views on game-related technologies and industry trends.
The conference aimed to provide a platform for education, creative interactions, technical sharing and social networking for professionals in the sector.
