Entrepreneurs from Wenzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province recently gathered for an investment fair being held in Guangzhou - capital of South China's Guangdong province - to seek business opportunities on September.

The global Wenzhou merchants investment and trade fair and the 20th anniversary celebration of the Guangzhou Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce were held in the Haizhu district of Guangzhou.

More than 50 Wenzhou businessmen from home and abroad inspected the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Experimental Zone there, gained an understanding of Haizhu district's business environment and investment opportunities and signed investment deals.

In recent years, Haizhu district - adhering to the investment concept of "industry first" - has introduced high-quality projects through business associations, professional institutions and leading enterprises. It's focused on creating a new highland for the digital intelligence industry.

Driven by the Pazhou experimental zone, Haizhu has become an important gathering place for the digital economy and private enterprises.

The district is also upgrading its modern industrial system and has cultivated six strategic pillar industries.

The continuously upgraded industries have attracted a lot of talent to Haizhu and the population has become younger.

Haizhu has also proposed a "Chief Service Officer" system and the concept of "Haizhu Partners" - providing guarantees for the development of talent-intensive industries, such as the digital economy.
