Publisher Langsheng Books - based in the Haizhu district of Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province - has focused on promoting the copyright protection of the works of Jin Yong (1924-2018), the legendary Chinese martial arts novelist and essayist.

The company is said to believe that Jin's works serve as enlightening literature for Western readers, fostering a lifelong passion for Chinese culture.

To that end, Langsheng Books has collaborated with Guangzhou copyright enforcement officers to combat piracy of Jin's works. Its efforts have been recognized through the company receiving such awards as the Top 10 Copyright Cases in Guangdong Province and the China Patent Gold Award.

In addition, Langsheng Books has developed the Jin Yong Audiobook and the BaiTing Audiobook applications to meet the demands of digital reading.

Their efforts have enabled Jin's works to find a global audience. Since 2017, authorized English editions of Jin's works have been published in the United Kingdom, the United States, France and other countries. Multilingual comic book adaptations are also being actively translated and produced.

When promoting Jin's works, Langsheng Books emphasizes his influence in the Chinese-speaking world and connects the historical background of his works with Western counterparts.

The company has established collaborations with overseas publishers and digital reading platforms, to provide multilingual and multimedia reading products for worldwide martial arts literature enthusiasts.
