During this golden autumn season in September, the district of Haizhu - in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province - is bringing a colorful cultural feast to locals with the launch of a series of fun activities.
The seventh Zhujiang Party Pier Beer Festival will be held in the old industrial-style Zhujiang Party Pier Beer Culture & Art Zone.
There, participants can enjoy outdoor performances by bands from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and participate in creative markets on Sept 14-22.

The first Yaoxi Mid-Autumn Festival Garden Party will take place along the Yaoxi River, offering lion dance performances and parades of hanfu, or traditional Chinese attire. In addition, there will be mooncakes, Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns and intangible cultural heritage products for sale. The event runs from Sept 28 to Oct 3.

The intangible cultural heritage cultural and creative products exhibition will showcase more than 80 products, involving paintings, sculptures, colored porcelain, pottery sculptures and embroidery. It will run from Sept 6 to Oct 11.
In addition, an exhibition at the Haizhu District Cultural Center will display more than 70 calligraphy and painting works on Sept 13-19.
Elsewhere, the second Urban Culture Carnival combines the Mid-Autumn Festival with sports, anime, tea and drinks, camping, music, cars, hanfu and riddles, to create a Guangdong-style creative event. It will take place in late September.
On top of that, the Blooming Flowers and Full Moon · Mid-Autumn Festival Garden Tour will enable participants to experience traditional culture and activities in late September.
