Construction on Guangzhou Metro lines 10, 11 and 12 has made new progress.

The shield tunnel between Wufeng and Dongxiaonan stations of Guangzhou Metro Line 10 has achieved double-line connection. The shield tunnel from Xilang to Wufeng stations on Line 10 has been completely connected, and this section has begun work on station interior and installation of electrical and mechanical systems. Civil engineering work on the line is 76-percent complete.

A total of 91 percent of civil works on Guangzhou Metro Line 11 have been completed. It is Guangzhou's first loop line, with a total length of 44.2 kilometers and 32 stations.

Guangzhou Metro Line 12 starts from Xunfenggang Station on Line 6 and ends at the Higher Education Mega Center Station, the interchange station for Lines 4 and 7. The line is approximately 37.6 km long and is a key metro line in Guangzhou, serving as a transportation link between Haizhu, Baiyun, Yuexiu, Huangpu, and Panyu districts. Its civil works are 72 percent complete.
