The 31st Guangzhou Fair kicked off at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou's Haizhu district on Aug 25. With a total of nine exhibition halls, including three comprehensive exhibitions and four professional exhibitions, the expo showcased a wide range of products and industries.

The Haizhu district's booth, in cooperation with Miyuan, a social e-commerce company, introduced the ecosystem and development of the social e-commerce shopping guide industry to the public. The booth was divided into four sections, including a Haizhu digital economy exhibition area, a social e-commerce science promotion area, a special area for Miyuan, and an interactive shopping experiencing area.
Haizhu is committed to becoming an e-commerce hub. In 2021, Pazhou was named a National E-commerce Demonstration Base, attracting e-commerce giants such as Alibaba, Jinri Toutiao, and Vipshop. In recent years, social e-commerce has been showing signs of aggregation, attracting leading companies such as Miyuan and Youzan, with a Gross Merchandise Volume exceeding 80 billion yuan ($11 billion) in 2022.
