The preliminary contest of the second Guangzhou Pazhou Algorithm Competition, which kicked off on April 25, recently concluded.
The competition focused on industries such as software and information services, automobiles, and new energy, which have a solid industrial foundation in Guangzhou. The aim was to promote the deep integration of digital technologies and the real economy.

The competition is separated into three groups. Participating projects in the Innovative Solutions Competition involved areas such as industry, large language models, and aerospace pre-training, while the Algorithm Optimization Competition encompassed popular technical fields such as computer vision, reinforcement learning, time series forecasting, and large-scale models. With over 2,900 teams registered for the Algorithm Optimization Competition, the top 30 teams for each problem will advance to the next round.
The Leaderboard Challenge attracted submissions in fields such as human-computer interaction, algorithm security, and digital quality of life. The top three teams in each category will advance directly to the finals.

This year's competition attracted participation from enterprises, universities, and innovation and entrepreneurship teams from over 20 countries and regions, including China, the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Italy, Canada, and Israel.
The second Guangzhou Pazhou Algorithm Competition will hold its semi-finals and grand finale from August to September, with a prize pool of over 1 million yuan ($137,000).
