Recently, Haizhu established an expert database for the protection of commercial secrets.

The first branch of the database features nine experts, each providing advice and recommending technologies for the protection of trade secrets.

These experts hail from public security, inspection, and judicial authorities; administrative institutions; law firms as well as intellectual property service organizations.

The expert database is under dynamic management, changing every five years. Those who meet the requirements can be re-elected and serve consecutive terms. The pool can also enroll new experts based on need.

Experts will use their professional knowledge to assist market supervision departments in formulating strategies and plans for protecting trade secrets. They will provide advice on important decisions and engage in research, evaluation, and the dissemination of knowledge related to trade secret protection.

Moreover, they will offer consultancy and assessment opinions for trade secret protection innovation pilot projects, as well as provide technical assistance and decision, making references for challenging cases of trade secret protection.

The expert database will strengthen the intellectual support and talent guarantee for the protection of trade secrets, and improve the level of trade secret protection in Haizhu.

Haizhu will promote the construction of trade secret protection and rights protection service stations, as well as trade secret demonstration parks and  enterprises. It will also hold activities to promote the protection of commercial secrets.
