S.P.I Landscape Design, which focuses on providing landscape design services, was founded in 2007, with its headquarters in Haizhu. 

Over the past 16 years, the company has grown from a team of about 10 people to 16 subsidiary companies nationwide. In 2021, the company went public, listing its shares on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and it formed a development strategy of "design + culture + technology".

As a result, the company has transformed from being a landscape design company into a comprehensive operator in the urban and rural industry supply chain. With the concept of "design+", the company designs tourism landscapes, rural areas, public spaces, industrial and urban areas, technology areas, as well as communities.

The company has worked with China Tobacco, to help it cultivate high-end cigars on 1,000 mu (67 hectares) of land, with a potential income of 20,000 yuan ($2,741) per mu.

It's installed solar power panels on the cigar fields to generate electricity from excess heat, achieving self-sufficiency in the power supply. The cultivation of cigars only takes four months, leaving the remaining eight months for growing crops, which has proven to be profitable.

The company has formed three core technologies in the metaverse, two mature metaverse platforms and three major industry solutions. In March this year, the company also joined the Haizhu Metaverse Industrial Alliance.
