Fan Pengfei studies the behavioral ecology and conservation biology of gibbons. He will discuss the protection measures for gibbons in China.

Sun Zhen is a researcher at the South China Sea Institute of Oceanography at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She will lecture on the changes in the topography of the South China Sea and China's first-generation seabed geodetic system.
