The park site was previously occupied by the Zhujiang Pharmaceutical Factory. The new facility covers an area of 42 mu (2.8 hectares), with a total construction area of more than 28,000 square meters, consisting of 20 single or single-family buildings with a floor space of area between 300 to 8,000 sq m.

There are 35 small and medium-sized enterprises in the park, including 11 technology enterprises and 13 cultural enterprises, with technology and cultural tourism businesses accounting for 68.6 percent of the resident enterprises.

Guangdong's games industry is developing rapidly. Its online video games revenue grew from 164.9 billion ($22.8 billion) yuan in 2018 to 211.57 billion yuan in 2022, accounting for 79.6 percent of the national market share, while the industry’s scale ranks it first in the country.

Currently, Guangdong is home to more than 10,000 games enterprises, accounting for 32.35 percent of the total in the country.
