With the arrival of the summer holidays, the Canton Tower has become a hot favorite for people wanting to come and have a look at the landmark. Folks can choose a number of ways to avoid traffic jams on their visit.

In the wake of the summer rush this year, the average daily arrivals and departures at the Canton Tower Station have reached 62,000 and 68,000, an increase of nearly 8 percent compared with the same period in 2019.

From an analysis of visitor flows, the outbound peak period time is from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm, while the inbound peak is from 10.30 pm to 11.30.

Here are two recommended routes for visiting Canton Tower. Route 1: Ersha Island Sports Park - Guangzhou Bridge - Hongcheng Park - Haixin Bridge - Haixinsha Island - Huacheng Square - Huacheng Avenue Station. Route 2: Ersha Island Sports Park - Guangzhou Bridge - Hongcheng Park - Haixin Bridge - Haixinsha Island - Linjiang Biennial Park - Liede Bridge - Liede Station.

People can combine routes 1 and 2 to start from the Liede Station or Huacheng Avenue Station, make a complete circle and experience the night view of Guangzhou's new central axis from all angles, traveling a distance of about 6 kilometers.
