Guangdong music, Cantonese opera and the Lingnan school painting are known as the three major treasures of Lingnan culture and are national intangible cultural heritage items. In order to promote Guangdong's excellent traditional culture, Nanhua West Street, the Music Museum of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music and the Lingnan Music Popularization Committee of the Guangdong Ethnic Orchestral Society jointly set up the Guangdong music heritage base.

Many famous singers and musicians were invited to the music show, attracting an audience of more than 400 people.

"Guangdong music has a long history and wide influence, and is closely related to the spread and development of Cantonese culture," said Wu Di, a professor of the Music Museum of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music. He hopes that this Guangdong music heritage base allows more people to learn about Guangdong culture.
