Haizhu plans to hold various activities to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival.

Haizhu will hold the 5th Haizhu Wetland Dragon Boat activity at the Haizhu National Wetland Park from June 21 to 24. It includes a traditional dragon boat show on June 21, the Haizhu Wetland Dragon Boat Racing Invitational Tournament on June 22, and the Haizhu Wetland Dragon Boat Race taking place on June 24. Public Dragon Boat Experience Activities will be held from June 22 to 23, with the dragon boat carnival being held from June 21 to 24.

The Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Tournament will be held on June 17. This dragon boat race includes the traditional 600 meters straight race, the 22-person dragon boat 600 meters straight race, the color dragon dance competition and the dragon parade. Of these races, the 22-person dragon boat 600 meters straight race has been divided into a men's open group, a women's open group, a men's international group, and a college students group.

On the day of the competition, the preliminaries and semi-finals will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the finals and awards ceremony will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

From June 17 to 24, Haizhu will hold an intangible cultural heritage exhibition in the square of the Xinghai Concert Hall. This exhibition area will be composed of five sections, including dragon boat culture, traditional art, traditional sculptures, traditional food and traditional medicine.
