On May 29, the awards ceremony for the winners of the 2023 Haizhu outstanding scientific and technological workers was held at the Guangzhou Radio Station.

Haizhu selected 21 winners in the "Most Outstanding Science and Technology Workers" category and another 10 nomination winners. These winners were chosen from a variety of industries, including basic research and development, industrial manufacturing, digital technology, science education and health care.

These winners will be appointed as the first batch of special experts in Haizhu district's "popular science education group", and their employment period will last three years. These experts will use their scientific and technological knowledge to better serve people.

The event organizer also created a song to praise Haizhu's science and technology workers, which includes the district's scientific innovation highlights.

The strategic cooperation unit of the Haizhu District Science and Technology Association has also been established. It will serve science and technology workers, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, improve the academic level of the whole district, as well as strengthen scientific research cooperation in Haizhu.

Haizhu has also established the Haizhu science popularization vitality circle, which is composed of several new era science popularization practice bases. They cover numerous science popularization resources in Haizhu. Many companies such as Iflytek's South China branch, WinSing Cultural Tourism Industry Investment and Fang Farm have already joined.
