Haizhu will build the Zhuying area, which is on the south side of Liying Square in Haizhu district, into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Film Port.

The project has a total investment of about 2.3 billion yuan ($325 million), and its planned construction period is tentatively set at 36 months. The project includes a 120-meter-high industrial building, a film art experience center, and a film museum. Another prominent feature of the park will be its innovative film and television industrial complex.

The design scheme of the project aims to create a characteristic industrial film park that utilizes the "film + technology + finance + tourism" model. It will feature offices, cultural and creative spaces, as well as commercial spaces.

After its completion, the project is expected to attract more than 200 film and television enterprises in the Greater Bay Area. The annual output value of the project is expected to reach 3 to 4 billion yuan, while its tax revenue will reach 200 million yuan. Additionally, more than 10,000 employment opportunities will be created and available to people once the park is operational.
