Recently, the intelligent management platform of the Canton Tower was awarded one of the outstanding cases of urban digital twin in China, which was the only case in Guangzhou.

The intelligent management platform is the first smart city digital twin platform built by the Haizhu district government services and data management bureau.

It uses big data, internet of things sensing, AI intelligence and other cutting-edge technologies to enable local governance to be scientific, intelligent and refined.

The digital platform creates 1:1 3D digital restoration of Canton Tower. It covers 1,972 physical indicators of the scenic spot, including environmental cleaning, scenic spot management and urban components, making it easy for personnel to quickly grasp the dynamics of the area.

The platform can also monitor tourist flows to scenic spots in real-time. Managers can analyze the data to divert a dense crowd.
