The Haizhu district investment promotion bureau introduced supporting policies for catering companies in order to strengthen the high-quality development of the district's catering industry.

In the first quarter, Haizhu's GDP was 68.85 billion yuan ($9.89 billion). Of this total, the catering industry turnover increased by 14 percent, which is 18.5 percentage points higher than last year.

"This conference provides opportunities for participating catering companies to increase their sales and expand their consumption channels," said a manager from the Haizhu district investment promotion bureau.
