The Haizhu District Committee of the Communist Youth League and KPMG, an internationally renowned accounting firm, held a career guidance activity on May 7 to promote students' employment.
"Professional career planning guidance can help teenagers grow up better," said a manager of the China branch of KPMG. At this activity, the company invited executives and organized for volunteers to guide students in planning their careers.
For 10 consecutive years, Haizhu has organized 1,484 such activities to carry out career-planning services at 15 schools. It has also served 21,715 people, and assisted more than 6,800 students in various matters. More than 400 university volunteers and more than 50 company representatives participated in the most recent activity.
Activities such as this have connected schools and enterprises, supporting students to make clear goals and career plans.
