The New Guangzhou Cultural and Arts Center in Haizhu is the largest cultural center in China and is widely seen as being a marvel of its kind.
The center's site covers about 54,000 square meters, boasting a total floor space of 142,000 sq m.
It features a distinctive garden design emanating from Lingnan - the region encompassing Guangdong and the nearby provinces in Southeastern China area.
It has a public cultural center in the Han and Tang style. It also has a Lingnan calligraphy garden, a Lingnan opera garden, an orchard, a Guangzhou-style garden, as well as a Guangzhou embroidery garden in the Lingnan style.
