Haizhu's public transport to be changed for Canton Fair

The 133rd China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, will open in spring 2023 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Haizhu's normal public transportation will be changed for the duration of the fair.

Guangzhou Metro Line 8 and Line 4 will use special timetables and increase the number of trains during the fair.

Passengers on Metro Line 8 can transfer to Line 3 at Kecun Station and Metro Line 2 at Changgang Station. Passengers on Metro Line 8 can also transfer to Metro Line 4 at Wanshengwei Station.

Several bus routes will be either added or changed to accommodate this event. Haizhu will open two temporary bus dedicated lines that will run from the China Import and Export Fair Complex to Huanshi Middle Road, and from the China Import and Export Fair Complex to Liuhua Road.

Additional three bus routes will be opened, including routes from the China Import and Export Fair Complex to Asia International Hotel, the China Import and Export Fair Complex to Guangzhou East Railway Station, and the China Import and Export Fair Complex to University City. These routes will provide point-to-point travel services to exhibitioners, businessmen, and part-time translation college students.

Buses from Baiyun International Airport to the China Import and Export Fair Complex will run from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, and buses from the China Import and Export Fair Complex to Baiyun International Airport will run from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Buses will run every 30 to 45 minutes during normal hours.

The fair will also provide 15,246 parking spaces for the China Import and Export Fair Complex, as well as the surrounding hotels and office buildings.
