This is Tsinghua University's first professional practice base for digital economy in South China.

Professor Meng Tianguang, deputy dean of the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University, said Haizhu has taken the lead in exploring China's data broker system, and that the base will be dedicated to cultivating high-quality digital talents for the country.

The ceremony launched China's first data broker pricing mechanism. It quantifies the direct and indirect costs that are generated by data assets in the stages of collection, analysis and exchange. It also includes the data quality, flow, and risk coefficients to comprehensively evaluate and calculate the price of data products combined with the current market supply and demand.

The ceremony also commemorated the launch of Shu Yizhao, China's first micro-platform for data brokerage. The platform can provide open selection information, release product catalogs, query precise products and update work trends.
