Recently, construction of right tunnel of the Nanshi Road to Yangang section of Guangzhou Metro Line 11 was completed, marking great progress.

Currently, 86 percent of the civil construction works for Metro Line 11 (Guangzhou Railway Station - Pazhou - Guangzhou Railway Station) have been completed. Of the 32 stations, one is in preliminary preparation, two have been opened, 16 have been capped, and the remaining 13 are undergoing civil construction. Of the 32 tunnel sections, one has been opened, 25 have been completed, and the remaining six are still undergoing civil construction. Mechanical and electrical installations have begun at nine stations and some tunnel sections.

In addition, 66 percent of the civil works for Line 10 (Xilang - Shipai Bridge) have been completed. Among the 14 stations, one is in preliminary preparation, six have been capped and the remaining seven are still undergoing civil construction. Of the 14 tunnel sections, seven have been connected, four are undergoing civil construction along with the access line, and the rest are undergoing preliminary preparations. Mechanical and electrical installations have been carried out at two of the stations.
