The 7th Guangzhou Triennial opened on Feb 10 with the theme of "Symphony of All the Changes," which reflects historic Guangzhou's ability to adapt to the times due to it being a place of adaptability, tolerance, accommodation, and coexistence.

Interwoven with culture and trends, Yongqing Fang is a unique area in Guangzhou. The aroma of internet-famous coffee shops mixes with sophisticated and creative bazaars, showcasing the endless ideas of young people. Contrasting this are the Cantonese Opera Art Museum, Chinese style teahouses, and the intangible cultural heritage block that are rich with traditional culture.

With its literary and vintage character, Dongshan Street is a hipster haven in Guangdong, while the Xinhepu area of Yuexiu district, with its old red brick houses and lush old trees, retains the most charming timeless atmosphere.

The two sides of Guangzhou can be found in Zhujiang New Town. The Guangzhou International Finance Center, the first building over 400 meters tall in Guangzhou, was completed in Zhujiang New Town. Since then, tall buildings have been springing up like rain. However, across Huangpu area is the area is the street-bound sprawling lively village of Shipai.
