Haizhu will hold a warm up activity for the Pazhou Industrial Internet Summit online on Jan 17.

This activity will focus on how the industrial internet empowers new businesses and fuels business model innovation. Other key issues that will be explored include industrial internet development focuses in 2023, the core elements of business model innovation, the establishment of big data thinking, and how big data can fuel innovation in traditional industrial business models.

From January to November last year, the revenue generated by the internet and new-generation information technology industry in Haizhu district reached 54.8 billion yuan ($8.1 billion), up 9.8 percent. As the industrial Internet development highland of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone has achieved successful initial results in its industrial cluster, gathering more than 50 internet companies, such as Alibaba and Root Cloud.

In 2022, Haizhu introduced measures to promote industrial internet development. Industrial internet enterprises in Haizhu district have generated more than 30 billion yuan in revenue, with industries like industrial internet, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent education, and intelligent medicine flourishing.
