On Jan 13, the Jiangnan Culture, Business, and Tourism Integration Circle Phase I Construction Preliminary Results Exhibition and Spring Festival Consumption Promotion Activity opened in Haizhu.

Sponsored by the special class for the construction of Jiangnan Culture, Business, and Tourism Integration Circle, the event aims to promote Haizhu's work in upgrading Jiangnan West Road.

Jiangnan West Road is the earliest, most mature, and largest commercial to flourish in Haizhu district. It has witnessed the district's development and is considered "the birthplace of Haizhu's commerce."

"Jiangnan West Road has attracted a variety of commercial companies in the west of Haizhu district. This upgrading will optimize the consumption environment, make use of the rich cultural, commercial, and ecological resources in the business area, and enhance the interaction between the government and the market," said Lu Jialiang, director of the sub-district office of Jiangnan Middle Street.

The renovation project of Jiangnan West Road includes replacing about 17,400 square meters of sidewalks and square pavement, replacing about 80 sets of tree boxes, 284 stainless steel decorative manhole covers, as well as about 1,200 meters of sidewalk guardrail. In addition, a batch of smart street lights will be installed.

From 2022 to 2023, Haizhu will complete the master plan and respective special plans of the Jiangnan Culture, Business, and Tourism Integration Circle, defining the development goals, business circle scopes, and core construction aims.

From 2024 to 2025, Haizhu will build Jiangnan Culture, Business, and Tourism Integration Circle into an important core of the western Haizhu business circle and a fashion consumption hotspot in the Guangzhou business circle.
