Guangzhou Metro Line 18 recently installed a shielded door light that provides fast train guidance so that passengers can identify the fast trains by the colors displayed.

The light strip above the screen door of Guangzhou Metro Line 18 no longer shows multiple colors of lights when the train enters the station, but turns into just two colors, including blue and yellow. When an express train enters the station, the light strip shows a flowing blue, while a regular train enters the station with yellow.

Passengers can now not only know instantly that express trains are entering the station through the platform display and station radio, but also identify them more intuitively and accurately through the screen door light strip, which is more convenient for them.
