On the day of resumption of work, the offline stores attracted many garment manufacturers, who brought fabric samples to compare and select one by one among the stocks of many stores to find their preferred products. The face-to-face communication improved the efficiency of the transactions, as did the smooth logistics and rapid transfer of goods after Guangzhou optimized the adjustment of epidemic prevention and control measures. The store owners are confident about the future and they are planning to step up the design of new fabric products to prepare for the two major garment sale seasons at the end of the year and next spring.
The person in charge of the SYSU International Innovation Valley said, "on the first day of resumption of the market, nearly 80 percent of the merchants have opened for business. We are confident in the garment fabric market. In addition to next year's spring season, the near future will usher in New Year's Day, a small peak season of clothing sales, so we are also riveted on taking advantage of the last month at the end of the year, anticipating more orders."
