On Nov 28, the Vipshop headquarters building at the entrance to the park in Haizhu Pazhou set up a chokepoint. To pass it employees needed to meet certain conditions.

After receiving a notice to return to work on Nov 27, Vipshop made overnight arrangements for employee entry measures and special cleaning and disinfection of the building. Employees meeting the three conditions of requiring an offline office for their work, living in a non-controlled area and holding a 24-hour negative nucleic acid certificate could apply to return to work. The first batch of returning employees was mainly from the technical support team, the live broadcast team and a small part of the logistics support team; ongoing staff rotations will depend on office needs.

Currently, Vipshop employees mainly commute by car and shuttle bus. The Guangzhou metro reserves a shuttle bus from Mudisha metro station to the headquarters building with a frequency of every 10 minutes. The staff cafeteria provides packaged meals and implements quick pick-up. Stores and activity function areas are temporarily closed and meetings and activities are held online as much as possible. Nucleic acid testing points are set up inside the company grounds, and each department is tested at different times.
