Many people in Haizhu including policemen, community workers and volunteers fought against COVID-19 during the recent outbreak period.

Zhang Youfang, a policeman in Haizhu district's Kecun community, has a copy of the pandemic prevention map. On the map, he densely marked the grid, building, route, case location and other information. On this map, the whole Kecun community is divided into six grids, and each grid is responsible for the police, auxiliary police, security team leader, and their corresponding cell phone number. As the pandemic prevention and control work progresses, the elements on this map are increasing day by day. For each new case and outbreak, Zhang updates the map with a red pen and sends the latest map to other staff to help them judge the situation.

Zhong Zhijun, deputy director of the Haizhu district agricultural and rural bureau, led sixteen people in a quick search for people who had tested positive. After finding some, they disinfected the environment around the meeting and performed nucleic acid sampling for the antigen-positive people.

Yongliang Song and Jiajia Li are volunteers in the Kecun community. In addition to delivering supplies to residents in the containment area, cooperating with medical care for home nucleic acid sampling, and docking various special needs of residents, they did not forget the stranded pets stranded. According to current statistics, there are more than 1,430 households in the fourth grid, including 58 households with about 70 pets, including cats, dogs, lizards and hamsters.
