Since the recent COVID-19 outbreak in Guangzhou's Haizhu district, the city has been devoting large amounts of resources to contributing to the city's COVID-19 prevention and control efforts, with support personnel from Yuexiu, Panyu, Nansha, and Conghua districts, as well as from municipal units and 26 State-owned enterprises recently arriving.

From Oct 30 to 31, Yuexiu district support staff arrived in Haizhu district and set up their command in the district's Venture Capital town. Their support team was stationed in Houjiao village to assist with nucleic acid testing and information verification work.

On Oct 29, Panyu district mobilized medical staff to assist Haizhu's Nanzhou Street, Jianghai Street, and Huazhou Street.

Nansha district organized more than 1,000 volunteers to help Haizhu, while Conghua district organized three groups of volunteers to help.
