On Sept 26, the signing ceremony for the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Window Hotel project was held at Guangzhou Window Business Port.

The hotel is located in Guangzhou Window's Area C, with a construction area of about 33,000 square meters. It is currently the only international five-star high-end business hotel under construction within five kilometers of Guangzhou Window and will have 292 rooms upon its completion.

After the official operation of the hotel, it will become a brand-new hotel calling card for cities along the Pearl River, promoting the development of business, tourism, exhibitions, and other related industries in the area, as well as promoting international exchanges and cooperation.

Guangzhou Window Business Port is located at the intersection of the southern section of Guangzhou's new central axis and the rear channel of the Pearl River. It is divided into three areas: A, B, and C. Since it was put into operation in 2015, Area A has attracted more than 60 companies, including Midea, to settle. It has since become an important gathering area for the headquarters economy of Guangzhou's central axis. Area B was put into use at the beginning of this year and is now attracting investment. Area C is the third phase of the development project.

Construction started at the end of 2019. It consists of a 150-meter-high building, with 31 floors and a total construction area of about 210,000 sq m. It is expected to be put into use in 2025.
