There are currently 4,569 school-age girls who are willing to receive HPV vaccine in Haizhu district. The 18 community health service centers in Haizhu district are designated inoculation units, responsible for the inoculation of junior high students in their sub-districts.

Since September, Haizhu has been providing free HPV vaccines for girls under 14 years old who have not received the HPV vaccine in the first year of junior high school.

At 8:00 am on Sept 24, at the Fengyang Street Community Health Service Center in Haizhu district, more than 10 students from Huahai Bilingual School in Haizhu district, accompanied by their parents, received the first dose of the domestic bivalent HPV vaccine for free. Huahai Bilingual School is the first school in Haizhu district to arrange vaccinations.

"The school's unified organization is very convenient, and I hope that the second injection can also be booked in a unified manner," said a first-year student surnamed Guo from Huahai Bilingual School in Haizhu district. She is the first student in Haizhu to receive the HPV vaccine after receiving notice of the program.

"Drink more water after vaccination, pay attention to rest, and the second dose will be given after five months." In order to facilitate the vaccination of students, Fengyang Street Community Health Service Center opened a special HPV vaccine session. Before inoculation, a doctor asks the students about their disease and allergy history and other relevant information. After the inoculation, the parents are informed of the necessary precautions.
