On Sept 14, Guangzhou Metro announced details regarding the construction progress of Metro Line 10 and Line 11, which pass through Haizhu. The construction progress of Metro Line 10 (Guangzhou Railway Station-Pazhou) is 84 percent complete, while the construction progress of Metro Line 11 (Xilong-Shipaiqiao) is more than 50 percent complete.

Among the 32 stations of Metro Line 10, two stations have been opened, 14 stations have been capped, 15 stations are undergoing civil construction, and the remaining station is undergoing preliminary preparations.

Among the 14 stations of Metro Line 11, five stations have been capped, eight stations are undergoing civil construction, and the remaining station is undergoing preliminary preparations.
